As beautiful as this place is, there is one thing that Venice just cannot give you that my heart is aching for these days: The presence of nature. Forests, wild growing trees, secret gardens, wide landscapes. It puts your monkey mind back in perspective. Thank god my university has a little park where you can hear birds sing and the wind playing with the leafs. This is also where you can find the first little messengers of spring. Elusive & fleeing. I watch them while I try to catch up on my reading and hope for summer.
Ich bin ja eindeutig ein Stadtkind, aber so ganz ohne etwas Grün hier und da könnte ich ja auch nicht... da kann ich dich also gut verstehen :)!
